Type: Glazed, buff plastic clay border tile.
 
Description: Inlaid and glazed floor tile with a repeating pattern, decorated in ecclesiastical style and with maker's marks and ten stabbed holes to the rear.
 
Design: A pair of foliate symbols in cartouches between circles containing stars. 
 
Colours: Buff/ gold, black and white.
 
Dimensions: 6" x 3" x 3/4" (150 mm x 75 mm x 17 mm)
 
Condition: Poor with chips, nibbles and surface marks/rubbing. Also some mortar still adhering to the edges (see photos).
