Type: Plastic clay tiles set in a black painted wooden frame forming a 4-tile panel in the neo-medieval, gothic revival style.
Description: Four framed encaustic or inlaid tiles of sandwich construction with maker's mark and twenty-five stabbed holes to the verso.
Design: Cardinal foliate cross of oak leaves in a quatrefoil within a circular border of florets and with oak leaves at the corners.
Colours: Blue, terracotta red, brown and buff.
Dimensions: 13" x 13" x 1 1/2" (330 mm x 330 mm x 45 mm)
Condition: Chip and nibbles and some surface marks (see photos).
