Type: Pressed-dust (originally glazed), floor, wall or hearth tile. 
 
Description: Inlaid and with typical 'orange peel' surface texture and with faint makers marks to the verso. 
 
Design: Central floret in a cardinal foliate cross, set in a quatrefoil with trefoil buds and with fleurs de lys in the spandrels.
 
Colours: Terracotta red and buff.
 
Dimensions: 4 1/8" x 4 1/8" x 1/2" (105 mm x 105 mm x 14 mm)
 
Condition: Nibbles and some mortar adhering to the edge. Most of the original glaze has been rubbed (Please see photos).
