Type: A set of four relief-moulded, dust-pressed wall or hearth tiles with enamelled glazes.

 

Description:  4 richly glazed polychrome majolica tiles with maker's marks to the rear.

 

Design: A rose window with a central floral medallion surrounded by a circular band of trefoils, fleurs-de-lys and dotted roads, all within a square border of dotted roads and with fleurs-de-lys at the corners.

 

Colours: Black, white, blue, green, dark red and brown.

 

Dimensions (per tile): 6" x 6" x 1/2" (153 mm x 153 mm x 13 mm)

 

Condition: Good with nibbles and some rubbing (see photos).
