Description: Inlaid encaustic floor or hearth tile in neo-medieval style with makers marks and stabbed holes to the rear.
 
Design: Foliate cross with flower at the centre and with leaf spandrels.
 
Colours: Terracotta red and buff.
 
Dimensions: 4 3/8" x 4 3/8" x 1/2" (110 mm x 110 mm x 13 mm)
 
Condition: This tile has been broken in two and the pieces have been glued (see photos).
