Description: Encaustic tile, from a panel of four, with maker's marks and stabbed holes to the rear.
 
Design: Neo-medieval monogram of entwined letters ZO which is the Greek word for 'life' (short for Zoe = eternal life). Small florets at three corners and large, part floret at one corner.
 
Colours: Terracotta red and buff.
 
Dimensions: 5" x 5" x 7/8" (126 mm x 126 mm x 23 mm)
